CREATE NEW JOBS
Economic growth and job creation have long been my top issues. I am a strong supporter of the free enterprise system. Americans have trusted that system for almost 230 years and it has made us the envy of the world. Unfortunately, Democrats want to move Texas in the direction of ideas that have failed in every other corner of the globe.

My priority in the Texas Senate will be to continue making Texas the kind of place where job creators want to live, work and grow their businesses. Democrats want to tax businesses to dole out government charity. I want to empower our businesses to keep more of the fruits of their labor so they can hire more Texans.

In my own small business, I helped create 45 jobs. In my public service, I have focused on ways we can attract tens of thousands of jobs to Texas. Other states see their job creators as either the enemy or simply a source of tax dollars. As your Senator, I will work to ensure that Texas is the place to bring a business if you want low taxes, a great work force, excellent transportation and a government that believes in our free enterprise system.
